“This Bug Is On Fire” - a project initiated by artist @alleyable , follows the story of the disappearance, displacement and the ecological struggle of fireflies in East/South East Asian regions, as well as addressing the lived experiences of the artist’s background as an undocumented Filipino born and raised in Macao.
